NAHN Miami Gala Award Nominations

Do you know a student nurse, nurse, nurse educator, clinical nurse leader, nurse executive, nurse community champion or health care advocate that deserves to be recognized for their hard work and dedication to improving the health of our community? Please nominate them by completing the award nomination form. Board members are exempt from receiving an award.

The NAHN Miami Student Nurse of the Year Award

This award recognizes a student nurse who has achieved excellence in academic and clinical performance while serving the South Florida Hispanic community or patient population.  Two letters of recommendation from educators and/or clinical preceptors and a college transcript are required. Students must have completed a minimum of one semester in an accredited nursing program and have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.5 to be eligible for this award.

This award recognizes a nurse who has made outstanding contributions to the health care of the South Florida Hispanic community or patient population in any health care environment with evidence of innovation, creativity, leadership and/or advocacy.
